A Silver Bug original. An interesting piece. A beautiful natural opaque free-form cut dendritic quartz cabochon loaded with fern-like dendrites set in sterling silver. This stone really looks like a delicate piece of Chinese ceramic, a little work of art, the colors are subtle and gorgeous. This agate variety is termed “dendritic” due to its internal collection of dendrites. Dendrites are fern-like inclusions of iron, manganese, or other metallic oxides that create bold patterns within the gem. It’s an open back design because the stone is polished and finished on the reverse, there is no front or back with this pendant. It has an integrated clean looking bale. I love this little pendant!
