A Silver Bug original. A beautiful natural teardrop dendritic quartz cabochon with some nice dendrites set in sterling silver. It’s an open back design because the stone is polished and finished on the reverse and has an integrated slider bale. This agate variety is termed “dendritic” due to its internal collection of dendrites. Dendrites are fern-like inclusions of iron, manganese, or other metallic oxides that create bold patterns within the gem.
